Nguyen Thai Tuan | Interior & Black Souls: Nguyen Thai Tuan
Primo Marella Gallery is pleased to announce the Virtual Exhibition of Nguyen Thai Tuan "Interior & Black Souls"!
________
This exhibition is like a dream that comes true.
Nguyen Thai Tuan, works slowly, never satisfied with the result.
Precise and attentive in every detail.
Never leaving something behind.
His interiors are like an old dream of ancient time where shadows lies, calmly waiting to return to be part of the darkness.
Part of the black hole in the back of their lives, that is slowly eating everything away.
His paintings leave us with a conflictual feeling, so beautiful and so strong.
A feeble atmosphere of dream with dark shadows waiting for you in the same instant you will fall asleep.
Watching his painting is like to be on the border between dream and reality.
The reality is fading with the ambient, in an Impressionist vibe.
Everything is delineate in an unclear nightmare that is waiting you.
But you are not sure if you are falling asleep in this inner nightmare or if you are waking up in a crude reality of obsessions.
About the black souls series I love the atmosphere created with lightning and shadowing but I particularly love the red blanket.
It creates a sort of border.
A space that enclose two damned souls.
Wretched in a sin that can never be undone.
But can be dreamed as a wonderful instant.
In fact the part of the foot that is too far from the red is beginning its fading.
You can only dream and live over this small red shelter of illusion and delusion.
